MACS RELOADS, .375 JDJ, 270 Grain Jacketed Spire Point Bullet.

MACS FACTORY NEW AMMUNITION: New .375 JDJ with Hornady 270 Grain Jacketed Spire Point Bullets.  This is a heavy recoil hunting cartridge as well as an excellent round for target shooting.  It is intended for use in quality American manufactured firearms in good condition.  Currently the only available stock firearm for this caliber is the Thompson Contender Center Fire Pistol.

J. D. Jones is an American firearms and cartridge designer, firearms writer and president of SSK Industries. Jones began hunting at an early age, and became interested in bullet casting and handloading firearms cartridges. In the 1960s, Jones collaborated with Lee Jurras to create the Super Vel line of high-performance handgun ammunition.  In 1977, Jones founded SSK Industries, a company focused on cartridges and barrels (such as for the Thompson Center Arms Contender pistol) for high-power handgun hunting and target shooting.

Jones is primarily known for two lines of firearms cartridges. The first is his line of JDJ cartridges, primarily intended for the T/C Contender, ranging from .224 to .577 caliber. The second is his "Whisper" family of cartridges, intended to cause maximum damage at subsonic speeds, making them nearly silent when used with a firearm suppressor.

Currently, the .375 JDJ is not offered by any major ammunition manufacturers. The cartridge is made by resizing the neck of a .444 Marlin case to a .375 caliber.  The We use a medium crimp on the bullet since this is a single shot caliber and bullet movement during recoil is not an issue.  This is new ammunition.

Hornady makes a large variety of what might be considered "conventional" bullets. These bullets benefit from the same quality manufacturing techniques as Hornady's premium bullets and will consistently perform at a level well above conventional bullets.

The .375 JDJ, 270 Grain Jacketed Spire Point cartridge is packaged in boxes of 20 rounds.  It is always manufactured with new brass.  Macs Reloads also provides a credit for turning in spent brass as well as the plastic and styrofoam ammunition trays.  We also purchase large and small quantities of spent brass.  Like all ammunition manufactured by Macs Reloads, this ammo has a full money back guarantee.  If you are not completely satisfied, we will gladly refund your full purchase price.
