The 158 grain .38 Caliber bullet is pretty much the standard for .38 Special and .357 Magnum "Wheel Gun" shooters.  Usually referred to as a Semi Wadcutter, this bullet style is actually called a "Keith Point" bullet, named after the legendary Elmer Keith.  The Keith Point bullet is probably the favorite plinking bullet for shooters who want accuracy, a fairly clean bullet impact print on the target and ease in loading and shooting.  The flat nose of the bullet was designed to provide significant impact on game since Elmer designed the Keith Style bullet for hunting.  The tapered edge of the bullet makes it easy to load into the cylinder by hand as well as when using a speed loader.

For accuracy and performance, we recommend using Bullseye Powder from Alliant.

This bullet is used by the primarily by target shooters who simply enjoy heading to the range to shoot a few boxes of ammo.  Seating depth is easy to determine, simply seat the bullet so that the end of the case aligns with the crimp groove.  This bullet is made with new alloy, mixed to Lyman specifications with 4 percent tin, 4 percent antimony and 92 percent lead.  This bullet is lubricated with Magma Bullet Lube (Red).
